Austin takes the time to get to know his patients in a way you can’t find within a “system.” He evaluates more holistically and treated my injuries in a way I hadn’t seen before and as a result my tendinitis is gone for the first time in two years. Dr. Austin is pretty amazing.   I came to him with frozen shoulder after having shoulder surgery and spending 3 months with a physical therapist.  I had limited range of motion and strength.  Dr. Austin continuous evaluated and evolved my programming specific to my situation and progress - nothing cookie cutter about it.  I was also surprised not to have any homework and just rely on my sessions with him (certainly not complaining about no homework).  I am incredibly happy and grateful for his treatment and approach. I am so grateful for Austin. He was able to rehab my son’s torn patellar tendon. Austin has superior knowledge when it comes to athletes and where orthopedics and physical therapy can fall short. He was ready with a plan and always started every session with a discussion of how my son was progressing. Austin was exceptional in his ability to motivate, support, and educate my son. He would make appropriate decisions about when and how much he could participate in sports so we no longer had to worry if we were making the right call. Austin is a great doctor and a great person. He takes care of people well beyond his trainings. He was the first person we reached out to when my son broke his collarbone midway through the knee rehab.  Austin helped us understand the injury in real time as we waited for hours in the ER. He reassured us both and also integrated rehab for his shoulder. We have so much peace of mind now knowing we can reach out to Austin in the future if something else happens. He truly cares about his patients and their ability to thrive post rehab. I started playing pickleball this year and gradually increased my time on the court. However, my knee became unstable despite playing for 30-60 minutes. I followed Austin on Instagram and discussed my goal of avoiding or delaying knee replacement surgery until summer. Austin offered his help, and initially, I was skeptical. However, after a few weeks of working with him, I noticed improvements. I could walk up stairs without holding on, play pickleball without knee pain, and maintain a normal walking stride. Stepping up on curbs no longer required me to use only my right leg. The last few weeks have been great, and I played pickleball for two hours yesterday without any issues.

Dr. Ehmke helped me with persistent pain in my right arm and shoulder following an accident while skiing. His recommendations and written instructions helped me work through the pain in both my elbow and shoulder. Our teenage son broke his leg in April and was still limping at the end of the year after being told by orthopedics that he did not need any kind of therapy or rehabilitation. We weren’t happy with his healing journey and reached out to Dr. Austin at Body Kinetix after he was recommended to us. Our son worked with him over the course of 14 twice a week sessions and we are so happy with his progress. This was just the care and support our son needed to fully heal. He is back to running, scootering, being active and all around enjoying life after previously struggling to keep up on family walks. He is stronger and set up for an active, healthy life. We'd give more stars if they were an option!  Austin saved our daughter from going down the path of surgery for her torn meniscus.  And we are beyond thankful.  He is our first call for anything sports/dance injury related.  He is someone you can trust to tell you if he can help you or if you actually need more invasive care.
